A BIBLIOGRAPHIC STUDY ON CREDIT COOPERATION AS A FACTOR FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND STRENGTHENING
Abstract
The article presents in general the definition of cooperativism and makes a brief explanation of its origin and historical context. It describes the types of existing cooperatives giving greater relevance to credit cooperatives, focus of the study and analysis of this academic work. The emergence of credit cooperatives in Brazil and in the world, the main Brazilian cooperative systems, the differences between credit cooperatives and conventional banks and the benefits and advantages for those who associate or are somehow impacted by the activity of these cooperatives.
